Albuquerque Journal Remembers Heisenberg

October 8th, 2013

Like many/most, I was a huge fan of Breaking Bad. While I did not start it until the 3rd season, I watched 3-4 episodes per night until I was caught up. Back to Front

October 7th, 2013

OK, it’s time to resuscitate this blog. I originally created it to detail the process of my doctorate and dissertation. However, as the last entry shows, I finished that, becoming a doctor in the summer of 2012, and the blog has since set, lethargic and lonely.

Proposal Submitted

January 21st, 2011

Four weeks (and one day) after meeting with my committee post-quals, I  completed and submitted a full dissertation proposal first draft (a respectable 39 pages) at about 2am on 01.11.11. This is the next step in the milestone requirements for my degree.

On 01.21.11, I passed the proposal stage with committee feedback consisting of (in essence) an “okay,” a “mostly I’m content with this version,” and a “More revision and rethinking effort at this stage on your proposal is needed,” along with some excellent feedback for improvement. I know the areas that need strengthening; now, to make it happen.
