I’m a PhD student in the Technical Communication and Rhetoric program at Texas Tech University. I attended Arizona State University and achieved a Master’s degree in Religious Studies for which I wrote the thesis, “George Harrison: Spiritual Disciple / Secular Saint.” Additionally, I have a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Multimedia Writing and Technical Communication.

Currently, I’m a Content Designer for Go Daddy, where I’ve also served as a Technical Writer and Media Designer. Previously, I have held roles such as managing editor, instructional designer, graphic designer, and quality assurance specialist.

I have instructed in both classroom and online settings and have been an adjunct faculty member of the Multimedia Writing and Technical Communication program at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus for about seven years.

My research interests include digital orality, new media, online communication (specifically video conversations), ancient Greek philosophy and rhetoric, elearning, and visual communication.

My personal interests include music (many aspects to that interest), classic British motorcycles, fiction (reading and writing), select Manga, cooking, and my wife and daughter who inspire, motivate, and amaze me, daily.
