about me

I’m a PhD Candidate in the Technical Communication and Rhetoric program at Texas Tech University. I attended Arizona State University and achieved a Master’s degree in Religious Studies for which I wrote the thesis, “George Harrison: Spiritual Disciple / Secular Saint.” Additionally, I have a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Multimedia Writing and Technical Communication.

I’m a Content Designer for Go Daddy, where I’ve also worked as a Technical Writer and Media Designer. Prior to Go Daddy, I held such roles as managing editor, instructional designer, graphic designer, and quality assurance specialist.

I have instructed in both classroom and online settings and have been an adjunct faculty member of the Multimedia Writing and Technical Communication program at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus for seven years. I am currently taking a break from teaching in order to complete the doctorate degree.

My research interests include digital orality, new media, online video communication, ancient Greek philosophy and rhetoric, and elearning.

My personal interests include music, road cycling, classic British motorcycles, ink, fiction, cooking, and my wife and daughter who inspire, motivate, and amaze me, daily.
